The global Barbie frenzy has taken on a pink hue, as an intriguing online trend features an AI rendition of popular Indian actors transformed into Barbie dolls.

This captivating video was posted on a Reddit page titled ‘What if Barbie was a Bollywood Star?’ and showcases the stunning likenesses of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Rashmika Mandanna, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. These renowned Indian actresses replace Margot Robbie, who portrayed Barbie in the recent Greta Gerwig film. 

Many Reddit users took to comments and wrote, “Aishwarya Rai…” Another said, “Omygaawd Aish is looking dreamy like straight out of fairytale tbh better than Margot Robbie and Rashmika Mandana is looking okay too.” Another user commented, “Aishwarya Rai shall always be the OG Barbie.” One comment read, “I don’t see any competition, Aish is the clear winner for me.” While Alia Bhatt seems to be the second choice. Many fans disagreed with Kareena as Barbie.

The Barbie movie was recently released and has won hearts across the globe. The film is directed by Greta Gerwig. The live-action film features Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Simu Liu,  America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, and Will Ferrell among others.
