Aditya Roy Kapur talks about Kartik Aaryan starrer Aashiqui 3, Anil Kapoor jokes about Aashiqui 4

Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor and Sobhita Dhulipala recently attended the press conference for their upcoming thriller series The Night Manager – Part 2.

On Wednesday evening, Aditya Roy Kapur was asked whether he is part of Aashiqui 3. In 2013, Aditya Roy Kapur played the lead role of singer Rahul Jaykar in Aashiqui 2 alongside Shraddha Kapoor.

At the press conference of The Night Manager Part 2, Aditya said, “When I first heard of Aashiqui 3, many people asked me if I wanted to be a part of it. But at the end of the second part, I took a long swim (laughs)! So, I don’t think the character can return for the third part.” He further stated that the creators of Aashiqui 3 have assembled an excellent group based on what he has been told.

Aditya Roy Kapur had Anil Kapoor sitting beside him and the latter’s sudden joke, “Aashiqui 4 mere saath ban rahi hai, by the way!” left everyone laughing.

In September 2022, the makers of the film announced the third instalment of the film which will star Kartik Aaryan in the lead role. Sharing the video, Kartik wrote, “Ab Tere Bin Ji Lenge Hum. Zeher Zindagi Ka Pi Lenge Hum. #Aashiqui3. This one is going to be heart-wrenching!! My First with Basu Da.”
