Elsewhere on the historic track, actor Brad Pitt, 59, made a surprise appearance and went incognito for the most part keeping a low profile.
He wore a plaid button-down shirt jacket that he left undone – except for the top button – and put on a white t-shirt underneath.
The A-lister finished off his casual attire with some beige chinos, white trainers and brown-tinted aviator sunglasses.
Former One Direction singer Liam Payne, 29, was also out and about for the motorsport event and clutched a can of Red Bull as he made his way to the VIP area to support the team.
He was dressed in a blue denim t-shirt and beige chinos and kept the sun off his face with some black sunglasses.
The musician let his brown locks part into curtain bangs and plaited a few strands at the front of his mop.
Lewis Hamilton showed up to snap some pictures before taking his seat in the actual race and proved he was still arguably the most stylish driver in the line-up.
The driver, 38, smiled in a metallic blue and orange bomber jacker that he wore over the top of a graphic white t-shirt that he tucked into a pair of black jeans.
He waved to crowds as he covered his eyes with some black shades and gripped a purple-cased phone in his free hand.
