Abhishek Bachchan never reveals much about his forthcoming projects or his new ventures. Today we learn from reports in a daily that the actor is all set to headline a project which is a remake of a Tamil film.
Reports in the daily confirm that the actor has bought the rights of hit Tamil film Oththa Seruppu Size 7. The film in Tamil is written, directed by Parthiban and he even starred in the film. The film has its unique concept where it’s a solo act thriller and this surely caught Abhishek’s fancy. Abhishek Bachchan flew down to Chennai on several occasions to get the remake rights and bring it to the Hindi audiences. Abhishek will not only star in this film but he will also produce it. The actor is working with Parthiban to make sure that they bring few changes in the script to give a pan-India feel to it.
Parthiban will be directing the Hindi version and Abhishek Bachchan is said to have started the film. The actor has started shooting at a brisk pace and sources tell the daily that they intend to wrap the film in a single schedule.
Oththa Seruppu Size 7 won two National Awards Abhishek Bachchan even has a distinct look for the project and has not allowed anyone with cellphones on the set.
