Aaron Rodgers sees ‘Wicked’ on Broadway with Jets teammates as NYC tour continues
Aaron Rodgers continues to be a man about town.
The new Jets quarterback’s latest New York outing took him to Broadway, where he went to see “Wicked” at the Gershwin Theatre Wednesday night with teammates, including tight end C.J. Uzomah and quarterbacks Tim Boyle and Chris Streveler.
“Wicked night in the city,” Rodgers wrote on Instagram, where he shared a photo of himself holding a Playbill and standing with his three Jets teammates in front of a merch stand.
Rodgers’ night on Broadway comes on the heels of him attending a pair of Taylor Swift Eras Tour shows at his new home, MetLife Stadium, on Saturday and Sunday.
The 39-year-old, who went to the shows with actor Miles Teller and Teller’s wife, Keleigh, posted photos from Swift’s concerts on Instagram.
“Incredible weekend at my new home #metlifestadium with some special friends Miles and @keleighteller, a bunch of new ones, and the legendary @taylorswift who absolutely rocked the house for 3 1/2 hours each night!!!” Rodgers wrote. “She is truly a master entertainer and epic human, and @phoebebridgers was spectacular as well. Thanks to the great security folks, the sweet fans that I met, and all the hospitality from the Tour both nights. Hopefully we can make MetLife that loud this year.”
Shortly after Rodgers was officially traded from the Packers to the Jets in April, he visited Madison Square Garden with teammates for Rangers and Knicks playoff games.
Rodgers hit up Italian hotspot Carbone with Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner before one Knicks playoff game.
The quarterback has also been spotted by paparazzi shopping in Manhattan, with stops at Rag & Bone and John Varvatos.
It hasn’t been all play for Rodgers, however, as he’s been in attendance at Jets OTAs in Florham Park, New Jersey, though he was limited Wednesday after tweaking his calf last week.
The Jets have more OTAs next week and have their mandatory three-day minicamp starting June 13.
