A Place In The Sun star reacts as buyer names Spanish home after her
A Place In The Sun presenter Leah Charles-King has reacted to the news that a couple named their Costa de la Luz property after her.
During filming for the show in 2021, Leah hit it off with retired teachers Carrie and Steve.
Over the last two years, the trio have kept in touch — and the Channel 4 presenter has revealed that they’ve named their home ‘Casa Leah’ in her honour.
Today (Monday, 5 June) the former Kleshay singer shared a series of snaps with Carrie to her Instagram feed.
The first picture included in the carousel is of Leah and her friend standing in front of a white wall.

The phrase ‘Casa Leah’ has been spelt out with bronze lettering.
Another image is a portrait of the presenter herself. She can be seen standing in front of a stunning seascape, looking glamorous in a floral wide-legged jumpsuit.
In a third pic, the former house hunter and her son, Cameron, posed with Leah outside of their stunning Spanish property.
Sharing the 10 photographs from her recent jaunt with her 12,600 Instagram followers, Leah explained what the homage truly means to her.
She wrote: “Guess what? I went back to CASA LEAH!
“It’s a beautiful house in #Spain that’s named after me, and what an honour! I first met the owners @hey_carri_ann and her husband Steve filming my first episode of #aplaceinthesun back in 2021.”
She then went on to say that the trio bonded over a “passion for” mental health advocacy, and an improved quality of life.
Leah continued: “They chose their favourite place called #islantilla which is near the Portuguese border with Spain and instantly fell in love with the fourth property I showed them.
“They got the house and been living their best lives ever since! They called it ‘Casa Leah’.” (sic)
The 23-year-old also wrote that the owners of the property are extremely generous.
Apparently, they open their doors and welcome families who want to make “lasting memories with their loved ones” and those who suffer from a terminal illness.
“I can’t wait to go back for another visit and what a blessing for someone to actually name their home in my honour. WILD,” she added.
The couple themselves featured on a November 2021 episode of A Place In The Sun.
The Islantilla property was the fourth that Leah showed them, and at the time they had a budget of £110,000 to splash.
Of course, with the recent visit and the naming tribute, it seems as if the trio have remained thick as thieves ever since.
