A deceptive ‘tardis house’ near Cardiff is up for sale for £70,000
A new property listing near Cardiff proves that you should never judge a book by its cover.
The cottage has been dubbed as a real-life ‘tardis house’ – as while it looks small from the outside, the square footage is actually pretty generous.
Despite being dwarfed by neighbouring properties, anyone who goes inside the ‘tiny’ house will be pleasantly surprised.
The property is currently on the market for £70,000 and has plenty to offer.
In terms of the floor pan, it’s spread across two levels with the ground floor featuring two receptions, a modern kitchen and a downstairs bathroom, as well as a garden.
Whereas upstairs, there are two bedrooms – which have been created from the loft space.
And the neutral cream and grey decor gives a blank canvas for new owners to get experimental.
Outside, the house is painted white with blank window sills and there’s a quaint little garden path leading up to the quirky cottage.
It also lies between a towering terraced house and a Co-op – so the new owner won’t ever have to worry about running out of milk.
The tardis property, located just 30 miles away from Cardiff, is being sold by estate agents PurpleBricks.
It’s also on the market for significantly less than the average house price in Cardiff – which, according to Rightmove, is £283,116.
Elsewhere in the world of interesting property listings, a carnival-inspired house with its own bowling alley in the living room is up for sale for £1.5million.
Likewise, a London bungalow that’s on sale for £2million is one of the most expensive ever to hit the market.
