We enjoyed day trip to Ibiza for less than day in London – flights cost £37
TWO mums enjoyed a day out in Ibiza — and say it was cheaper than a trip to London.
Clare Jeffs and Hannah Brown paid £37 for flights.
The pals got babysitters and flew from Manchester at 5.45am, landing at 8.30am.
They hired a car, explored the capital’s old town and sunbathed before catching a 10.30pm return flight, getting home to Stockport at 1am.
Complaints adviser Clare, 36, said: “I’ve an 11-month-old girl with some medical issues and didn’t want to take her away.
“I assumed I wouldn’t be going abroad for a while so looked at trips in England but Ibiza was cheaper.
“I told Hannah who said, ‘Take me’.”
Besides the easyJet flights, she and mum-of-twins Hannah, 38, each spent £70 on food and travel.
“A train from Stockport to London would be £152.
Clare added: “I cannot recommend it enough, it is amazing.
“It is very tiring, but it is such a good thing to do. It is something different and doesn’t need to cost loads.
“I loved having a day to myself and my best friend. I felt lifted.
“It was a great idea. It was so nice to step away from real life.
“I really recommend it to mothers that want a day to themselves to chill.”
