Adele is so relatable as she gets candid about her acne struggles
She may be a multi-millionaire global superstar, but even Adele gets spots!
The Easy On Me hitmaker made a candid admission to fans while performing at her Las Vegas residency this week.
Adele, 35, told fans she’s trying to cut sugar out of her diet to help with her complexion.
However, her son Angelo, 10, who she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki, has other plans.
Instead, he keeps feeding her homemade cookies – and it’d be criminal to turn him down, right?
‘I’m really getting a hold of my skin finally,’ she told the Caesars Palace crowd.
‘When you get in your thirties you’re like, “It is me versus my skin”.
‘Everyone always thinks I’ve got great skin because I wear four inches of make-up.
‘But I do still react to certain things and my dermatologist thinks it might be sugar. So, I’m trying to cut out sugar.’
On her son thwarting her new skincare regime, she added: ‘But my son is at culinary camp, so he brought back 24 of the best cookies I’ve ever eaten in my life. I ate pretty much all of them.
‘Then he brought home oatmeal and raisin ones, so I ate one of those and then some brownies. He made bagels, then a blueberry pie.
‘My spots are coming back.’
Well, what do they say, Adele? You only live once…
This isn’t the first confession Adele has made about her health since beginning her Vegas residency.
She recently confessed to dealing with a fungal skin infection around her groin sweating in her Spanx during her intense gigs.
‘I need a towel, Jesus,’ she exclaimed at a recent show, before explaining she actually went to visit her doctor lately, who told her she has jock itch.
‘It is a bit crude but I never knew it existed,’ she admitted.
‘Obviously, when I do my shows I wear Spanx and keep it all in and make it all fit me.
‘And I sweat a lot and it doesn’t go anywhere. So basically I just sit in my own sweat.’
You can always rely on Adele to shatter those showbiz illusions!
