Jessie J is ever the icon, and 35 days after giving birth she’s shared the most inspiring message about post-partum body confidence.

The Price Tag singer, 35, took to social media to spread some wise words with her 13.3million followers.

In a lengthy post, accompanied by a candid black and white photo of her body 11 days after giving birth, the musician wrote of how she loves her body.

Jessie – full name Jessie Cornish – went on to say how grateful she was that her body had grown a whole human being over the past nine months.

She vowed she is celebrating her new body and being patient with it as it recovers from pregnancy and childbirth.

The singer has been super candid about her journey to motherhood, after she went through a devastating miscarriage in 2021.

At one point, the Do It Like A Dude singer was even told she wouldn’t be able to conceive a child naturally.

Then came the brilliant news in January that she and partner – basketball player Chanan Safir Colman – were expecting a baby.

Then, in May Jessie J announce she had given birth to a baby boy, who we now know is called Sky.

Now, sharing updates on how she’s adapting to motherhood so far, the star posted some beautiful words of wisdom to mums everywhere.

‘I’m writing this for myself as well as any one else that needs to read this,’ she began.

‘Your body was a home for someone else to live in for 9 months. Your organs have moved and need to find their way back to where they were before. Your uterus is still deflating slowly.

‘Your hormones are flying and crashing. Your body is working the hardest it has ever worked. You are exhausted but you are magical. You grew a whole human.
A human who is doing this with you and loves you beyond measure.

‘Take your time. Be easy on yourself, your body AND your mind. Remember you are in recovery and don’t forget to also remind those around you.

‘Celebrate your new body. It HAD to change. It will be bigger and smaller in different places. IT IS BEAUTIFUL and NATURAL.

‘Ignore the whispers of what some people say you should or shouldn’t look like after a certain time. It’s 2023. People need to chill.

‘It’s your journey. Your time and YOUR body. It’s not the same as anyone else’s, and that’s what makes it special. You are unique. ????

‘This was my body 11 days after giving birth and I still look pretty much the same now 35 days on.

‘I LOVE my body. It has given me the most magical roommate inside and outside of my body.

‘And when it’s ready and able to change again it will. Whatever that looks like. I’m here for it.

‘You are doing amazing Mamma. You the MVP.’

What a queen.
