AI reveals what iconic cartoon family would look like in real life

AI has revealed what The Simpsons would look like if they were real.

Homer is seen sitting outside a factory eating a donut much like his “D’oh” loving cartoon counterpart.

Annoying neighbour Flanders caught most people’s attention for being “stupid sexy”.

But some were less convinced by Marge with blue hair as the only real distinctive feature.

“Marge has always been portrayed as way out of Homers league but I think she looks too young here,” one Reddit commenter said.

“I struggled a lot with Marge,” user Crows_HeadIC who generated the images responded.

“But why not give her a modern edge.”

Her sisters Patty and Selma also feature – with cigarettes and a cloud of smoke.

Bart, Lisa and Maggie were recreated too, alongside Mr Burns and Principle Skinner.

The images were made using Midjourney, an image generator which creates pictures using AI.

Crows_HeadIC admits that The Simpsons is better with its “cartoon splendor”.

“Just nice to imagine a world out there with these characters living normal lives,” they said.

It’s not the first time AI has been used to reimagine The Simpsons as real people.

Another artist previously used the technology and photo editing software for their own take on the hit show.
