An American bargain hunter hit the jackpot after finding dozens of golf clubs going for a few pounds when they sell for hundreds online.
Matt of @retrotoyenvy offers thrifting and reselling tips to his 365,300 followers on TikTok, generating 10.3 million likes in the process, reports The Daily Express US.
He shares advice on second-hand bargains and reveals what they could resell for on Facebook or other online retailers.
In his latest thrifting exploit, Matt picked up a sizable haul of heavily discounted golf clubs from a charity store in the US that could be resold on the likes of eBay for around £400.
In a clip on his TikTok page, Matt broke just how much the clubs would be worth.

He said: “Look out for these golfclub brands to swing in some great profits. I grabbed this Ping iron set for only (£8.69) and all these wedges, including Taylormade and Titleist for only $8.99 (£7.11).
“This trio of Titlest wedges for only $9.99 (£7.90). Then, I moved onto the drivers: Cobra, Titleist, Taylormade, and Adams Golf.
“All these drivers sell very well. They are only $8 (£6.33) to $11 (£8.70) each. I found more irons, it was one of my best thrifting days I’ve had in a really long time.”
The set of Ping irons alone could go for as much as £277 at the moment on eBay, while the set of Titleist and TaylorMade wedges could potentially be resold for over £85.
But, it was made clear in the comments that this was quite the find even in the thrifting industry, as one person named Steve Bankman said: “What a find. Trust me that doesn’t happen every day. I’ve been a golf club thrifter for years. Nice.”
Giving further insight, Retro Toy Envy told commenters that these deals could be found in “thrift stores”, and that he sells the items he obtains on Facebook Marketplace as well as eBay.
