Horror game’s surprise success celebrated with sale – scares for less than £5
THIS year has been one of gaming’s best-ever years, with a number of games receiving perfect reviews.
June has provided one surprise hit from a hugely popular horror genre.
Amnesia: The Bunker was delayed twice from March 2023, leaving gamers worried about its eventual release.
However, people are enjoying their time with the new survival horror game, praising it for shaking up the Amnesia formula.
It’s been called an “essential horror game” and a “pure survival horror experience.”
Celebrating the successful release, publisher Frictional Games has given big discounts to its other horror games on Steam.
This includes the other three games from the Amnesia series, and popular survival horror game Soma.
The sale also includes two games from the Penumbra series, which is Frictional’s original horror games.
What’s best about the sale is that everything is 85% off, meaning that every game can be purchased for under £5.
You can also buy a bundle of all of the games on sale for a little more than £10.
If you are not sure if you want to pick up the series, then you can pick up a demo of Amnesia: The Bunker completely free.
Here’s everything available as part of the Amnesia publisher sale.
