Angel Reese celebrates 2 million Instagram followers with new sultry photo shoot
Angel Reese celebrated another career milestone off-the-court.
The LSU basketball star, who led the Lady Tigers to their first national championship in a 102-85 win over Iowa on April 2, reached two million followers on Instagram this week.
Reese took to the social media platform on Monday, sharing the first look at her latest photo shoot with Tycoon Sports, a media marketing agency specializing in brand building for athletes.
“CHEERS TO 2M,” she captioned her post, adding a lips emoji.
Reese, who is one of the NCAA’s top NIL earners, wore a number of sultry looks, including a brown crocodile bikini and silver metallic short shorts.
The 21-year-old posed for an episode of the media brand’s YouTube series, “Tunnel Vision,” which premieres on Saturday.
WNBA free agent point guard Te’a Cooper served as executive producer of the new show covering athletes’ fashion.
Reese has been busy since she garnered attention during March Madness with her on-court prowess and trash talk.
On Friday, the LSU captain joined her teammates in Washington D.C., where the NCAA champion Tigers visited the White House.
Reese, who was previously dismissive of Jill Biden’s idea to also invite the losing Iowa squad, hugged it out with the First Lady, and presented her with an LSU jersey with “FLOTUS” on the back.
Reese, who’s entering her junior year at LSU, posed for this year’s 2023 SI Swimsuit issue, which released earlier this month.
She made her SI Swim debut just over a week after LSU star gymnast Olivia Dunne — a New Jersey native — announced her first photoshoot with the brand.
The self-described Bayou Barbie, Reese has an NIL valuation of $1.4 million with 26 total NIL deals in her brand portfolio as of May 2023, including Raising Cane’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Calvin Klein, Bose and Coach.
Reese turned 21 this month and purchased herself a Mercedes-Benz.
