Aaron Rodgers practices for a Jets Super Bowl win with Taylor Swift confetti
If the Jets end up being the last team standing and winning their first Super Bowl since 1969, Aaron Rodgers used his trip to the Taylor Swift concert at MetLife Stadium to prepare.
The Jets quarterback attended Saturday and Sunday night’s Eras Tour concert with actor Miles Teller and Teller’s wife, Keleigh.
Keleigh captured them in an Instagram video enjoying the confetti falling to the floor and Rodgers used that moment to envision himself celebrating with his Jets teammate at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., the site of the 2024 Super Bowl.
“The Jets win the Super Booowwlll!” Rodgers can be seen yelling in a video posted by Keleigh late Monday night.
Rodgers also posted videos and photos from the concert on Monday, including the countdown to it starting, him singling along to Swift’s song “the 1” and the confetti coming down.
“Incredible weekend at my new home #metlifestadium with some special friends Miles and @keleighteller, a bunch of new ones, and the legendary @taylorswift who absolutely rocked the house for 3 1/2 hours each night!!!” Rodgers wrote in the caption. “She is truly a master entertainer and epic human, and @phoebebridgers was spectacular as well.
“Thanks to the great security folks, the sweet fans that I met, and all the hospitality from the Tour both nights❤️ Hopefully we can make MetLife that loud this year ???????????? come check us out @nyjets.”
The 39-year-old Rodgers, who was officially traded to the Jets in April, revealed during an interview with Adam Schein on SiriusXM that he is a huge fan of Swift and planned on attending show.
The former Packers star appears to be enjoying life in the New York/New Jersey area having also attended Knicks and Rangers playoff games.
He and his four MVPs arriving for Gang Green has immediately propelled the Jets into the Super Bowl conversation after the Jets went 7-10 last year and just missed out on the postseason.
