Popular K-pop girl group BLACKPINK’s member Jennie Kim made her debut on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival on Monday night.
The K-pop star was seen looking stunning in a princess white lace off-shoulder midi dress. To compliment her look, she kept her tress in wavy curls and pushed away from her face with a black hairband featuring a cute bow.
The rapper attended the prestigious film festival to attend the premiere of her action debut television series The Idol. Jennie walked the Cannes red carpet with producer Ashley Levinson, director Sam Levinson and the cast of The Idol including The Weeknd, Troye Sivan, Lily-Rose Depp, Rachel Sennott, Sophie Mudd, Moses Sumney, Hari Nef, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and producer Reza Fahim.
Jennie’s Cannes debut comes amid dating rumours with BTS member V who was also reported to walk the Cannes red carpet. Earlier this week, BTS V and Jennie were reportedly seen in the streets of Paris holding hands. The videos and the images surfaced on social media which made the ARMYs and BLINKs frenzy.
HYBE and YG Entertainment released a statement about the two’s relationship stating, “It is difficult to check [regarding this matter].”
On the professional front, BLACKPINK is currently busy with their Born Pink world tour. The girl group have already performed for BLINKs in North America, Europe and parts of Asia. The group had also recently performed at the music event Coachella 2023 and will continue with their world tour with concerts in Bangkok, Singapore and more.
