Ranbir Kapoor reveals he has advised friends to get out of relationships if they were not happy
Ranbir Kapoor, who portrayed Mickey in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, which was released earlier this year, recently talked out about his real-life demeanour in relation to the character. In the film, Mickey has a side profession where he helps individuals split up amicably and without harming their spouse.
Ranbir had stated in an interview with an OTT website that he has urged people to leave a relationship if they are unhappy. He went on to say that the least you can do is be honest with each other and acknowledge when you’ve fallen out of love with someone or fell in love with someone else. He stresses, though, that, unlike his character Mickey, he did not design a strategy to pull his buddies out of a relationship.
Before, when promoting his film on Kareena Kapoor’s chat show, Ranbir acknowledged to being “makkaar” in relationships, but as you get older, you realise that you need to be honest and upfront with your spouse, which leads to a meaningful connection.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar fared well at the box office and is now making ripples in the OTT space. Ranbir will now appear in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal with Rashmika Mandanna in a new avatar.
