Kate Middleton steps out in sheer blue Elie Saab ensemble at Palace Garden Party

Princess Kate Middleton has stepped out with her husband Prince William for the Royal Buckingham Palace Garden Party.

The Princess is wearing a sheer powder blue Elie Saab number with a tulle skirt and pussy-bow neckline.

Her look, which also features embroidered polka dots and lace detailing, has been completed with a matching blue Philip Treacy hat, silver Gianvito Rossi pumps, and a silver Elie Saab clutch.

Apart from the earrings, this happens to be the exact same outfit that she wore to the Royal Ascot four years ago.

As for the jewellery, the earrings appear to be Kiki McDonough’s blue topaz and diamond Lola hoops.

Meanwhile, Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, wore a £1,290 Guipure lace shirt dress by Suzannah London.

Blue has been a big theme with Kate over the Coronation weekend.

The Princess appeared yesterday in a blue blouse to volunteer at a Berkshire Big Help Out event, and a cornflower blue Reiss blazer for her and her husband’s surprise appearance in Windsor on Sunday.
