The wait for Tamil Nadu class 10th and 11th students is finally over as the School Education Minister, Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, has announced that the results are likely to be released on May 19, 2023. This year, over 10 lakh students appeared for the class 10 exams that were conducted from April 6 to April 20, 2023, across 3986 exam centres in the state.
Meanwhile, the class 12th result was declared on May 8, 2023, with a pass percentage of 94.03%. The girls outshone the boys with a pass percentage of 96.38%, while the boys’ pass percentage stood at 91.45%. Out of the 8,03,385 students who appeared for the exam, 7,55,451 students cleared it. The accountancy subject saw a total of 6573 students scoring centum.
With the announcement of the class 10th and 11th results date, the students can finally put an end to their anxiety and can check results online on the announced date.
The students are advised to keep their hall tickets handy as they would need it to check their results. The results can be accessed on the official website of the Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education.
The announcement has brought some relief to students who have been anxiously waiting for their results. The release of class 10th and 11th results on May 19 will give the students a clear picture of their academic progress and help them plan their future accordingly.
Here are the steps to check the Tamil Nadu Board Exam results for Class X & XI:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) at tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the link that says “TN Board Exam Results 2023”.
Step 3: Select the relevant exam i.e., class 10th or 11th from the options provided.
Step 4: Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth in the fields provided.
Step 5: Click on the “Submit” button.
Step 6: The result will be displayed on the screen.
Step 7: Verify the details mentioned in the result.
Step 8: Download and take a printout of the result for future reference.
