Many gamers aspire to compete at the highest level against the likes of the biggest professional teams. It seems Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players now have the chance to really achieve that dream of theirs. A popular esports team announced that it held Counter Strike: Global Offensive tryouts to fill their roster for upcoming competitions.
The team in question is none other than Velocity Gaming, and they posted an announcement on their official Twitter account. Velocity Gaming hosted CS:GO open tryouts, and any player that is eligible according to the requirements were able to participate in these tryouts.

While the Google Form used for applications is no longer accepting responses, TalkEsport highlighted the requirements to be eligible for the CS:GO tryouts. These were Velocity Gaming’s eligibility requirements for CS:GO open tryouts:
- Firstly, the players that are participating in the tryouts should be at the age of 18 or above.
- Players cannot be beginners and should have had some kind of professional experience beforehand.
- Players should have their personal-setup active before they are selected and called to the bootcamp.
- Players should not have a problem travelling for any competitive or LAN events.
- Velocity Gaming is prioritising Indian Citizens over other participants
- Anybody matching the above requirements can fill the form, whether they are solo, or in teams.
