Ford also seems to have taken a cue from Tesla and has announced price cuts across the board for the Mach-E. The most expensive models from the Mach-E lineup are now cheaper by $4000. These include the Premium RWD variant, which is down to $46,995 from its older price tag of $50,995, and the Premium AWD Standard Range variant now costs $49,995 (down from $53,995). Also cheaper by $4000 is the GT AWD Extended Range option, which is currently at $59,995 ( down from $63,995).
In addition to these variants, the Select RWD Standard Range variant of the car is cheaper by $3000, with an updated MSRP of 42,995. The Select AWD Standard Range is also cheaper by $3000, and now costs $45,995 (as opposed to $48,995 earlier). Ford has also reduced the price of the California Route 1 AWD Extended Range variant by $1000. This specific variant will now retail for $56,995 instead of $57,995, the company confirmed.
Ford has also introduced an optional Comfort Package Lite upgrade option for the Mach-E, which now includes heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a memory driver seat. The company is also giving consumers complementary 90-day access to its BlueCruise hands-free highway driving package.
