In an interview with a leading news organisation, Rajeev said that Sushmita is ‘absolutely fine now’ and said what happened was quite unfortunate. He said, “Health is something which is quite unpredictable, things can happen. But touchwood she’s doing much better, she’s back to work.”

Additionally, he stated that his sister is mentally and physically strong. He said she needs to because it’s not easy to manage two kids and be an actor at the same time. He said that he shot a short film for four days and had to go through so much and do hard work. He said,” And here I see my sister shooting for months non-stop. It takes a lot of toll and it is not easy.”
