Google is reportedly down for 12,000 users in the US – Times of India

According to a report Google is facing an outage for more than 12,000 users in the US. As per the outage tracking website Downdetector, users in the US are facing issues using Google Search and other services.
“User reports indicate Google is having problems since 9:04 PM EDT. http://downdetector.com/status/google/ RT if you’re also having problems #Googledown,” tweeted Downdetector.

Users also took to Twitter to complain about the issue. Here are some of the tweets:

As per Downdetector 87% users are facing issues with Google Search and about 1% are not able to login into their accounts.
YouTube Music bug affecting users
Meanwhile, it was reported that a new YouTube bug is creating issues for its users. 9to5Google has reported that a new bug on YouTube Music is causing issues for certain users of the mobile app. The bug is cutting off the album cover art on the Now Playing screen for Android and iOS users alike.
According to the report, the cover art bug is believed to have been caused by a recent server-side update. The bug is affecting the artwork display on YouTube Music for both Android and iOS users. Although it is considered a minor issue, the bug is causing some inconvenience as it makes it difficult for users to quickly identify what they are currently listening to. Google is anticipated to release a fix soon to address the bug and improve the user experience.
