Following a sunny bank holiday weekend and with temperatures set to climb next week, it’s fair to say that spring has definitely sprung.

With picnics and al fresco drinks on the cards very soon, M&S has just launched some exciting new tinnies for this year.

The supermarket has unveiled four new canned cocktails in some delightful summery flavours.

For coffee lovers there’s a salted caramel espresso martini – a twist on the classic.

Whereas those who prefer fruitier options can enjoy a zesty pink grapefruit paloma or a smoked pineapple daiquiri – made with rum, pineapple juice, lime juice, smoked whisky and smoked bitters.

If a negroni is your drink of choice, M&S has a rosé spritz version of this too – made with London Dry gin, rosé vermouth, Italian amaro and hibiscus.

All the cans are available for £3.50 each and are on sale now.

Jenny Rea, the lead product developer for cocktails at M&S, said: ‘These four new flavours in the Marksologist range are absolutely ideal for enjoying in the spring sunshine that’s just around the corner, but they’re also great for those wanting to enjoy perfectly mixed cocktail at home without the hassle of having to make it themselves.

‘With top-quality ingredients that are expertly blended so you can enjoy from the very first sip, we’ve done all the hard work for you.’
