Halle Berry hits back as troll slams her for posing nude on balcony
Halle Berry, 56, divided fans over the weekend when she took to Instagram to share a risqué photograph of herself posing completely naked while drinking a glass of wine on a balcony.
The mother-of-two captioned the daring post: “I do what I wanna do,” before adding: “Happy Saturday.”
The snap sparked a mixed reaction, with many fans and famous faces heaping praise on the stunning star.
However, one Twitter user was unimpressed by Halle’s nude upload and accused her of posting the photo “for attention”.
“Aging with dignity is no longer a thing.” (sic)
The Oscar winner then retweeted the post and hit back: “Did you guys know the heart of a shrimp is located in its head?”
Halle’s unphased comeback tickled her fans and many took to the comments to praise her.
Actress Audra McDonald said: “You won the internet today with this clap back.”
Ashley added: “Imagine getting mad because a beautiful woman is proud of her body [laughing emoji]. Couldn’t be me.”
And Stephenia echoed: “Halle, you are born gorgeous and will remain gorgeous – let the haters jump.”
Halle is known to work hard for her age-defying physique and often shares footage of her workouts with fans.
In an interview with InStyle in August last year, Halle explained that her workouts “always vary”.
She said: “Some days I’d work on strength and cardio and others I’d do yoga and stretching, all while I did a few hours of martial arts training each day.”
Halle also said she is always conscious not to “overstress” her body.
As for how she continues to look half her age, Halle also revealed how she keeps her skin looking great.
She told Extra in 2018 that she swears by drinking collagen-filled bone broth.
She said: “You can make it, you can go to the butcher and get all the bones they’re going to throw away and he’ll give them to you for free.
“Take the bones, boil them up for 24 hours … and you drink the broth. It’s so full of collagen that it’s crazy.”
