A new documentary is set to follow racing driver turned OnlyFans star Renee Gracie’s return to the Bathurst 1000.

A new Stan Original Documentary – Revealed: Renee Gracie – will document the former Supercars driver’s attempt to compete as a wildcard in the Great Race.

Gracie was a prominent female figure in Australian motorsport, from her early beginnings in karting through to her eventual retirement in 2017.

She contested three seasons in Supercars’ second-tier Super2 Series before making two starts in the Bathurst 1000 with Simona De Silvestro of Switzerland.

In doing so, the pair became the first all-female duo to contest the Bathurst 1000 since Melinda Price and Kerryn Brewer in 1998.

Gracie’s last start in 2016 saw her claim 14th with the factory-backed Nissan team.

After stepping away from motorsport, Gracie became one of Australia’s highest earners on subscription-based adult content site OnlyFans.

Gracie has reportedly made upwards of $500,000 in a month.

Now, with cash in hand, the 28-year-old is eyeing a return to the Bathurst 1000 as a wildcard entry.

The documentary is led by an all-female creative team, written and directed by Frances Elliott and Samantha Marlowe and produced by Cody Greenwood.

The documentary is described as “a story about exploitation, empowerment and resilience, and is a showcase of what women have to do to succeed, thrive and survive in a man’s world.”

“We are proud to support the talented writer/directors Frances Elliott and Samantha Marlowe and producer Cody Greenwood, who have a proven track record of crafting engaging documentaries,” said Screen Australia’s Head of Documentary Alex West.

“Not only is Revealed: Renee Gracie set to shine a necessary light on gender inequality, stigma and prejudice in sport and beyond, but it shares honest insights into Renee’s empowering origin-turned-comeback story – making for a compelling watch on Stan.”

Stan chief content officer Cailah Scobie added, “Stan’s acclaimed Revealed slate has been a hugely successful collaborative partnership sharing uniquely Australian stories from an outstanding collection of directors, producers and journalists including the multi-award winning Nick McKenzie from The Sydney Morning Herald/The Age and 60 Minutes and John Silvester from The Age.

“Our commitment to invest and produce local original documentaries that take a deep dive into Australian contemporary topics and issues can be seen in our upcoming addition to the slate, Revealed: Renee Gracie

“We can’t wait to work closely with Rush Films to tell Renee’s story and continue our dedication to produce bold, unique and investigative content, not seen on any other platform.”

Filming is set to commence this year. The Bathurst 1000 takes place on October 5-8, marking the first race under Supercars’ new Gen3 regulations.
