The makers of the upcoming Tamil film Jailer starring Rajinikanth in the lead role released a new character poster which shows Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff.
The poster was revealed on Twitter on Sunday with a tweet that read, “Jackie Shroff from the sets of Jailer.” In the poster, Jackie Shroff is seen looking intense while half of his face is covered with a scarf.

Jackie Shroff has worked with Rajinikanth in the 1987 Hindi film Uttar Dakshin and the 2014 Tamil film Kochadaiiyaan.
Last month, Tamannaah Bhatia took to Instagram and announced the news of her joining the movie. She captioned the post, “Finally I can share this with you all… the news is out!!! I am soo sooo happy and honoured to be a part of this movie Jailer with the one and only Thalaivar Rajnikanth sir directed by Nelson. Can’t wait to share this experience with all of you…”
Last year, in February, Jailer was announced as Thalaivar 169, it being Rajinikanth’s 169th film.
The film is written and directed by Nelson and produced by Sony Pictures. It stars Rajinikanth, Shiva Rajkumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan and Jackie Shroff among others.
