FIFA Ultimate Team down – confused fans report major online outage for FIFA 23

FIFA 23 and its online features, including FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT), are currently down for scheduled maintenance.

However, delays in maintenance have meant that the servers will be down for longer than previously announced.

The web app is also down.

The maintenance was originally scheduled for today (January 12), and servers were supposed to be online from 1pm UK time.

It has now been delayed as it is taking longer than predicted.

EA Sports has said that it predicts that FIFA 23 will go online again at 3pm UK time.

The maintenance affects not only FIFA 23 but also the FIFA 23 web and mobile companion apps.

This means that you will be unable to open FUT packs, build your team, or spend FUT coins during maintenance.

If you disconnect your console from the internet, you may be able to play offline mode such as Career Mode during this time.

There are a number of changes coming to FIFA 23 in this title update.

A Help button is being added to FUT to give live updates on issues that are occurring with FUT. The radar will also be fixed.

Changes are also being made to Constant Pressure to make AI teammates more reliable.

Starting lineups will be fixed in World Cup mode, where occasionally, the wrong players appear.

Players were also finding solutions to FIFA 23 automatically installing EA anti-cheat on their computers.

The update hopes to fix this, so that all users on PC will be banned from using cheat software while playing.

General improvements will be made to a number of graphical, and musical bugs and errors.

Following the update, FIFA 23 should run more smoothly and balances will come to some of the new mechanics.
