Flight attendant calls out late passengers’ annoying demands
Sometimes passengers cannot help being late for a flight, but airport staff will often try their utmost to help last-minute boarders.
However, there are some requests they will not accommodate.
Popular TikTok user @anastasia_crunk regularly shares insights into what goes on behind the scenes at airports, roleplaying interactions between guests and ground crew or flight attendants based on her own experiences.
In one such clip, she revealed how poorly some passengers treat gate staff despite being late, reports The Mirror.
In the comedy skit, Anastasia can be seen responding to a number of unbelievable requests from a late passenger.
While the character is polite enough, they don’t show much consideration for fellow flyers.
After being informed they “just made it” in time to board the plane, the passenger begins their excuses.
“I’m sorry, I had to get Starbucks real quick,” she says. “Traffic was crazy.”
But to make matters worse, the passenger is not willing to find their seat quickly.
Instead, she pauses and asks the gate agent: “Wait can I get an aisle seat?” When the crew member explains the flight is full and staff need to “close up right now,” she continues: “Do I have time to go to the bathroom?”
“No, no no, you can go to the bathroom on board. I’m glad you made it,” Anastasia replies before smirking at the camera, perhaps shocked by the demands, just as a number of commenters were.
The video amassed over 388,000 likes and hundreds of comments from incredulous viewers who could not believe the behaviour displayed in the demonstration.
“She must’ve also stopped and picked up some audacity on the way to the terminal,” read one reply.
Another said: “It’s amazing to me of how people can be so clueless. Those are the people you hope they miss their flight but then I am sure they yell at you.”
Meanwhile, someone commented: “I hate when we closed and they say can I use the bathroom like bruh u had all this time.”
Other responders were shocked by the staff member’s attitude or lack thereof. “You were way too nice,” thought one.
“You’re so nice I would have still been closing the doors til she walked through,” a second agreed.
