Apart from the cutthroat competition, the attendees also got to visit booths for gaming tech and gear from Logitech G, Revenant Esports and gaming merchandise company Cybeart. There was also a meet and greet organized for the attendees, where they got to meet beloved personalities such as Dynamo Gaming, Xyaa, Tbone, Fa2, Ankkita C, and more.
One of the main sights at the event was the Streamers Showdown for CS:GO, where the country’s top gaming creators took part. There were 15 streamers in total, who were split in three teams.
Team Imported Jods, consisted of Paradox, Sway, Xyaa, Euphoria, and Jimmy Gaming reigned supreme over the rest. What’s exciting is that the Streamers Showdown CS:GO currently has over 350,000 views on YouTube, which hints towards a rekindling of the game’s Esports scene in India.
Here’s what Shiva Nandy, Founder and CEO, Skyesports had to say about the event:
“CSGO and Dota 2 will be a huge part of our 2023 plans and as we look to revive the scene for both games, this event with 5,000 plus attendees was an indication that we are on the right track. Pokemon UNITE is also an up-and-coming MOBA title in the country. As the esports scene continues to mature in India, I am confident that these games will play a central part in its growth in the coming years.”
