Skyscanner reveals when flights are cheapest on site- with return fares from £14

FLIGHT comparison website Skyscanner has revealed the best times to book flights on its site, in order to bag a bargain.

The company offers flights to thousands of destinations worldwide, with return flights starting from £14 – but it all depends on when you’re searching.

The website revealed that the majority of airlines use dynamic pricing, meaning the prices might vary from day to day or even hour to hour.

Data experts have discovered a weekly pattern in the pricing and found that prices are usually cheaper earlier in the week.

Typically, midweek flights are less expensive than weekend ones.

Here are some of the best flight deals we’ve found, from city breaks to beach escapes:

• Rome, Italy – return fares from £21
• Faro, Portugal – return fares from £16

It is worth remembering the deals include flights only, so accommodation will have to be booked separately.
