Mike Tindall disappointed at fellow campmates for incorrect answer about Zara
Mike and Babatunde Aleshe had just completed a Dingo Dollar challenge, and were anxiously waiting for the likes of Matt Hancock, Charlene White, and Seann Walsh to answer a question so the camp could enjoy a treat of nachos with guacamole.
The question wasn’t one too far from home for Mike – who has made history as the show’s first ever royal.
Mike married his wife Zara in July 2011, after he proposed two years before, with the couple now sharing three children: Mia, eight, Lena, four, and Lucas, one.
In camp on Friday night, after Babatunde and Mike completed the Whack-A-Mole, the celebs were asked what number in line Mike’s wife Zara is to the throne, with the likes of Charlene listing them all and counting on her fingers to work it out while Matt picked up the phone.
Unfortunately though, they didn’t quite manage, with Mike and Babatunde walking back into the camp empty-handed, and saying: ‘We need to talk’.
He later revealed that he himself did know the correct answer, which was 20.
After the celebs guessed 17, Mike said in the Bushtucker Telegraph: ‘I was quite confident between Matt, Charlene and Sue they would get the answer right, but it turns out my wife’s brother’s kids they forgot about.’
On Thursday night, Mike opened up about the birth of his son, revealing that Zara almost gave birth on the bathroom floor.
Lucas was born at Princess Anne’s estate, Gatcombe Park in Gloucestershire, with Mike revealing the birth was ‘rapid’.
He added: ‘As we got our stuff to go to hospital, she got out of the bath, she could barely stand, she was shaking.
‘The midwife was like, “She’s not making the hospital.”
‘She was like, “You don’t want to be delivering in the car.”
‘(I went) into the gym (and got) two gym mats (to put) down in the bathroom.’
Mike also spoke about his wife’s labour pains, saying: ‘(Zara) was, it was fast though, from that moment. She almost choked me to death.
‘You can’t say anything can you? “Can you let go, you’re really hurting me?”’
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV.
