Marvel releases the full roster of heroes from across the multiverse that will make up Jason Aaron and Aaron Kuder’s Avengers Forever series.

The roster of heroes from across the Marvel multiverse have been revealed for Jason Aaron and Aaron Kuder’s Avengers Forever.

According to Newsarama, the team in Avengers Forever will officially go by the name Avengers of the Multiverse. Their leader is the young Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes), with one of the key team members a Tony Stark variant named the Invincible Ant-Man. Instead of becoming an inventor and the armored Avenger Iron Man, this Tony Stark is an archeologist who takes on the mantle of Ant-Man.

Avengers #50 lights the fire. Avengers Forever is the explosion that follows,” Aaron said. “A slam-bang supernova of a megabomb that sends shockwaves across all of reality, to Earth after Earth that’s been defaced by the new Multiversal Masters of Evil, to the ruins of Asgard at the end of time, to an Avengers Tower that sits atop a bedrock of fallen gods at Infinity’s End.”

“Along the way, we meet some new versions of Avengers we know, as well as witness the return of some dear old friends, in a series that will swing for the fences with each and every issue, as the Mightiest Heroes of all the Earths in the heavens look to assemble as never before,” Aaron added.

Aaron Kuder’s cover to Avengers Forever #1 features Robbie Reyes and the Invincible Ant-Man front-and-center. Other recognizable heroes caught on the cover include a Vision, Speedball, Spectrum, Thunderstrike, Black Knight, Beast, a Deathlok, an Amadeus Cho Hulk, Beast and Wonder Man, Doctor Druid and most notably, Captain Carter from the Disney+ animated series What If…?.

Marvel also confirmed Avengers Forever represents the first appearance for many of these heroes, so fans can sit back and wait to be formally introduced to them. The Multiversal Masters of Evil debuted in Free Comic Book Day: Avengers/Hulk #1 and will return in Avengers #50. The giant-size issue will directly lead into Avengers Forever, as the villainous group attacks various Earths across the multiverse.

The free issue put the spotlight on a mysterious figure known as Avengers Prime monitoring the multiverse, and using a squad of Deathloks to fend off any incursions. However, one Deathlok met its end at the hands of the Multiversal Masters of Evil, teasing the massive story to come.

Avengers Forever #1 goes on sale in December from Marvel Comics.
