Katherine Ryan regrets ‘roasting’ Taylor Swift in her stand-up show – even though the superstar saw the funny side.

In an exclusive interview with Guilty Pleasures, the comedian recalled running into the singer after cracking jokes on stage about her privilege and ‘squad’ of model friends.

‘She was so lovely to me, and she’s someone that I love,’ Katherine explained.

‘I did have a joke that loads of people loved, where I roasted Cheryl Cole, Taylor and Nicki Minaj. I never expected that I would meet them, then I started meeting them.

‘(Taylor) told me she had seen it. She wasn’t offended – she liked it and she had a really good laugh. She was so gracious about it. But I genuinely almost died because I thought, “If I have offended Taylor…”’

And while Swift shook it off, Katherine worried she might have been a ‘bully’ and is ‘more careful’ these days.

The 39-year-old, expecting her third child, also served up food drama by once putting bread in Room 101 on the series about pet hates. ‘I got letters from Brits completely outraged about it, “How dare you?!”’ she said.

The TV star is also hoping to boost the nation’s mood with nostalgic cooking, by teaming up with Gousto, the recipe box provider.
