Aldi ‘Le Creuset-style’ cookware – shoppers love casserole dishes
Aldi’s Specialbuys are popular with shoppers and the supermarket has just restocked its casserole dishes online after previously selling out, so shoppers will have to act fast.
Le Creuset’s casserole dishes come in at over £200 each, which is unaffordable for many, but luckily there are some great alternatives available.
Aldi’s Specialbuys section features products across all categories, including home, garden and health and beauty, and is updated every week with the supermarket’s newest additions.

The design of the dishes is smart and classy, with a stainless steel knob and inner non-stick coating for easy cooking and cleaning.
The dishes are ideal for cooking anything from stews to casseroles and curries and are oven safe up to 250 degrees, plus they are suitable for all hobs including induction, so can be used between the oven and the hob and are ideal for family meals.
The tough enamel coating helps protect the cast iron, so the cookware is built to be strong and sturdy, and to last.

Jaybee said: ”A good solid (heavy) pot, ideal for large casseroles on a long slow cook. Large capacity to enable batch cooking. Le Creuset style at a fraction of the cost.”
Lynds also added: ”Looks really expensive. It’s really heavy and feels good quality.”
