Sophie, Countess of Wessex, started her African tour last week, where she visited the Democratic Republic of Congo, becoming the first member of the British Royal Family to visit the country. She then headed to Rwanda and is now in Botswana.
Today, October 11, the Countess met with and spoke to local entrepreneurs at a reception at Westminster House, Residence of the British High Commissioner, in Gaborone.
Sophie has looked elegant while on tour, appearing mostly in floral dresses or colourful suits, and today was no exception. The royal donned a blue dress with a multicoloured print that she has worn on several past occasions.
The dress is by Peter Pilotto and is covered with a floral and leaf pattern.
The piece cost £795 a few years ago when the 57-year-old bought it.

Sophie opted for espadrilles in Botswana today too – the Countess seems to be a fan of the practical summer shoe as she has been seen wearing them regularly throughout her trip.
These shoes were popular in the 1980s and were even worn by Princess Diana.
In 1981, weeks before her wedding to Prince Charles, the royal was seen wearing a pink pair, which she combined with yellow dungarees.
Always the trendsetter, since Diana, other members of the Royal Family, such as Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton, and Sophie, have sported espadrilles on numerous occasions.

Sophie’s espadrilles today were by Penelope Chilvers but were the High Mary Jane Leather Espadrille in White.
The Countess completed the look with a pair of large sunglasses and a few pieces of jewellery.
Her earrings were gold, dangling and leaf-shaped, while her bracelets were her usual jewllery staples.
Sophie wore her beaded Halcyon Days white bracelet on her right wrist, as well as a slimmer gold bracelet.
She also had on a thin chain with a diamond pendant hanging from it.
Completing her look was her engagement ring, which is a two-carat central oval diamond flanked by two smaller, heart-shaped diamonds.
The ring is reported to be worth around £105,000.
Sophie’s hair was styled straight, flowing to her shoulders, and she opted for her usual make-up look of mascara, a little eyeshadow, and a slick of lipgloss.
