Pokemon Fanatic Ed Sheeran Debuts His New Song ‘Celestial’; This Track Set to Feature in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet
By now the Pokemon community knows all about Ed Sheeran’s love for the franchise. For years, the English musician has shared various comments about his experiences of growing up with Pokemon, and he has claimed to be a mega-fan.
And to put the cherry on top, Sheeran might have made the rest of the fandom jealous by his latest move, as the songwriter has collaborated with The Pokémon Company on his latest track, Celestial.

The music video for his latest song arrived yesterday, and the press release regarding the collaboration suggest that Celestial has been inspired by Ed’s adulation for the Pokemon franchise.
Along with the beautiful sketch animation involving Ed Sheeran, the music video is filled with the musician’s favorite Pokemon which include Pikachu, Squirtle, Machamp, Snorlax, and more.
Sheeran has mentioned how the franchise has helped him during his tough childhood, with the series’ titles on the Game Boy Color being a standout for him.
Along with the music video, Celestial will also be part of the soundtrack of the franchise’s upcoming title in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, which releases for the Nintendo Switch on November 18.
