Kidswear brand Kidbea raises undisclosed sum in funding led by Agility Ventures

Kidbea, a sustainable kidswear brand based in Noida, has secured a pre-seed funding from Agility Ventures, along with some individual co-investors.

Nandi Mehta, the CFO of Kaaf Funds, Tapas Sahu, the Chairman of the CII in Jharkhand, Divij Bajaj, the founder of Power Gummies, Abhishek Kocchar, founder of Diamond overseas, and Vivekananda Nareddula, the founder of Apaizer, also participated in the funding round.

The company said it will use the funds to boost marketing efforts, expand the team, and improve R&D activities within the Indian kidswear market.

“As a D2C founder, I believe we should understand our customers’ needs rather than following tips and tricks, since every tip and trick will ultimately fail, but what will remain constant is how well your consumers understand your product. So, we at Kidbea, always focus on building a long-term relationship with our consumers, to get a better understanding of what they want and how we can improve every day,” said Swapnil Srivastav, founder of Kidbea.

Founded in 2021 by Swapnil Srivastav, Mohammed Hussain, and Aman Kumar Mahto, Kidbea makes organic spill-proof and anti-bacterial kidswear. The brand has patented spill-proof and fragrance technology that makes it unique in India and worldwide.
