Man’s ‘demonic’ pizza cutting technique divides opinion
Cutting pizza can be tricky.
Slicing through the dough can often feel like chopping wood.
These difficulties mean that we all have specific ways of clipping the takeaway treat.
However, one man’s technique has shocked internet users with people calling it ‘demonic’.
The male in question shared a picture of his uniquely-cut dish to Reddit with each chunk of pizza cut into a completely random shape.
In his post, shared on the Mildly Infuriating forum, he wrote: ‘This is how I cut my pizza to avoid cutting pepperoni.
‘My girlfriend said to post it here.’
Other Reddit users were horrified by the man’s admission and called his method ‘crazy.’
One person cruelly commented: ‘If she hasn’t run away yet, she should. You are a monster.’
Another asked: ‘What the f**k?’
While a third quipped: ‘You demonic excuse for a human. Why? Just why?’
Surprisingly, some were impressed by the process and said they may implement it in the future.
‘Never thought to not try to bend the pepperoni to my will, interesting approach, I will have to try it some day,’ one user wrote.
‘I actually don’t mind this… If you cut it like that and still hit pepperoni, now that would be hard to handle,’ added another.
Pizza cutting methods can come in many different forms but one of the most famous was created by two mathematicians.
Joel Haddley and Stephen Worsley created a pizza-cutting method which in the maths world is known as ‘monohedral disc tiling’.
When you use the method, it creates 12 perfectly even slices of pizza with ease every single time.
Okay, so who wants to go to Domino’s?
