Many sport fans have headed to Birmingham to enjoy the games and everything that the city has to offer.

The next Commonwealth Games will take place in the State of Victoria, Australia from March 17 until March 29, 2026.

Whereas previous Commonwealth Games have been held in one city, Victoria 2026 will be held by the start with a number of regional cities hosting events, including Geelong, Bendigo, Ballarat and Gippsland.

The baton will be handed over to the organisers of Victoria 2026 at the closing ceremony in Birmingham on Monday, as is the tradition at the games.

The opening ceremony for the 2026 games is set to be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
