CBSE launches portal ‘Pariksha Sangam’, its biggest digital initiative for exams; Check board results here too – Times of India
CBSE board exams are expected anytime within the next two weeks and Pariksha Sangam – http://parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in/ – will play a key role. All requests for photocopy of answersheet or revaluation etc, will also be done through this site.
The portal will immediately be put into action as registration for Class 9 and 10 are set to begin this week itself. Apart from this, board exam results can also be viewed through links on this website.
School results can be downloaded here. Students can contact schools for any other queries regarding results. Apart from this, students can also check results on links mentioned on CBSE main page.
Parisksha Sangam, will literally be a ‘sangam’ (confluence) for all exam related activities on a single portal.
While almost all of CBSE’s processes are online, they are getting done through different portals. Some transactions were solely between schools and the regional office, and schools would complain about not getting response from there.
Now all the activities will be integrated into the Pariksha Sangam portal, thus ensuring a ‘single window’ format for all.
A CBSE principal from Nagpur, who did not wish to be identified, said “Schools had been informed about this initiative and we were eagerly waiting. What we have been told is that CBSE’s IT director, Antriksh Johri, had been working on this initiative for a long time and finally it has been launched. This site will be a big boon for school staff, as earlier we were opening different portals for different things and contacting regional office staff for reimbursement of our exam fees. But thanks to Johri’s initiative, that’s all gone. Everything will be online and we can track it too.”
While CBSE had recently made the invigilation fee reimbursement process online, it will be also integrated into Pariksha Sangam.
A teacher from the same Nagpur CBSE school said “Now if we want to make certain changes in student details, that application can be tracked online. Even the HQ can see what type of requests have come in, at which stage of disposal they are at currently.”
