Virata Parvam’s hard-hitting trailer makes for an intriguing watch

As the trailer of Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi starrer Virata Parvam launches, the trailer promises to have you glued to your seat. The movie centres around Daggubati who plays a Naxalite who is fixated on uprooting the evils of society. Sai Pallavi plays the female lead as she joins the Naxalite movement to win the affection of her beloved played by Rana. The movie is directed by Venu Udugula and produced by Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Cinemas and Suresh Productions. It is scheduled to release theatrically on June 17.


Rana Daggubati in a promotional video of the movie said that the movie was tailor-made for Sai Pallavi. The story is told from the perspective of her character Vennela. The movie is set against the backdrop of the Naxalite movement in several parts of India during the 1990s. It is a brilliant portrayal of the fight between the police force, the civilians, and the Naxals.

The trailer promises action-packed scenes throughout the movie that include bomb blasts and gunfighting. The 3-minutes video promises to portray the story of the Naxalites and what they fight for.
