Oscar De La Hoya out with Holly Sonders after sexual assault accusations

Oscar De La Hoya made his first public outing with girlfriend Holly Sonders after he was accused of sexual assault in a lawsuit filed by his former business partner last Wednesday.

In exclusive photos obtained by The Post, De La Hoya, 49, and Sonders, 35, are all smiles while heading to lunch in Pasadena, Calif., on Monday.

Sonders, a sports reporter and host, stepped out in a hot pink mini dress and pointed pumps. The 11-time world champion boxer donned khaki pants and a blue polo, with matching sneakers.

De La Hoya and Sonders were pictured holding hands less than a week after The Los Angeles Times reported multiple assault accusations against the Hall of Fame pugilist made by his former female business partner in 2020.

De La Hoya denied the allegations, telling The Times in a statement, “With the 24-hour news cycle we all find ourselves in, more often than not, malicious and unjust accusations are interpreted as truth without the evidence to support their erroneous claims. I am confident my legal team will resolve this matter and prove my innocence.”

Last month, Sonders said in a post on Instagram that she and De La Hoya were “working on some major” projects together and hinted a reality show was in the works. The couple went public with their relationship last summer, after first meeting at a boxing event in June 2021.

In February, De La Hoya told BoxingScene.com that Sonders “makes me feel like King Kong,” while adding he had decided to hang up his boxing gloves for good.

He explained that he still has “breathing problems” while running following a bout with COVID-19 that left him hospitalized last September. The health scare caused him to cancel his pay-per-view fight against former MMA fighter Vitor Belfort.
