NVIDIA Introduces Reflex Stats to Measure System Latency Using GeForce Experience
Speed is of the utmost importance for many players, as they want to be quickly responsive to whatever task a game throws at them.
However, speed can be an issue, if your PC isn’t the best, as latency can be a cause of concern for many players, who might not have the hardware to run the best of what PC gaming can offer. However, NVIDIA has a solution that reduces system latency drastically in the NVIDIA Reflex feature.
The feature is currently available as part of NVIDIA’s GeForce Experience, and it helps with reducing system latency by combining both GPU and game optimizations. Players can avail this function on the titles that currently support it, which include Apex Legends, Overwatch and Rainbow Six Siege. Over time, the list of games have grown, with NVIDIA’s Reflex now supporting titles in multiple genres. This includes fan-favorite multiplayer games like Fortnite and Valorant, while also supporting single player experiences like Shadow Warrior 3 as well.
The previous update of the feature included a one-click solution with the NVIDIA Reflex Analyzer configuration on GeForce Experience. All players had to do to avail this feature was click Alt + R.
In the latest update, NVIDIA has introduced Reflex Stats, which allows players to measure measure part of the system latency pipeline called PC Latency. This allows players to optimize their performance and game settings by monitoring their PC latency in the latency overlay of GeForce Experience.
The feature is already supported by games like Fortnite, Rust and Valorant, with more games soon set to make the jump as well.
