Man, 61, arrested after woman ‘touched sexually’ on London bus in Haringey
Police have arrested a 61-year-old man in relation to an alleged sexual assault on a bus in Haringey. At around 5.40pm on January 15, a woman boarded a Route 141 bus at Turnpike Lane.
The suspect was already on the bus, and is alleged to have harassed a number of other passengers before approaching the victim and touching her several times until another passenger intervened and removed him from the bus.
A 61-year-old man was arrested on Monday, April 18, on suspicion of sexual assault by touching. He was later released on bail.

The police investigation continues led by officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command. They are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
