Here’s how you can make your own playdough from a few simple items and with no baking or cooking required:

Ingredients

  • 250g plain flour
  • 140ml water
  • 50g salt
  • 1-2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • few drops of food colouring

Method

Mix the flour and salt in a mixing bowl and add the water and oil

Knead well for about 10 mins until the mixture is smooth. Add more water or flour if necessary

Add food colouring and knead until it is blended

Store in a plastic bag in the fridge until it is properly chilled.

From there it is good to go!

Try making a variety of colours to help bring your child’s creativity to life and let their imagination run wild.
