Amanda Waller’s new Suicide Squad has been getting ready for an Earth-3 invasion. Next week, the crossover with The Flash and Teen Titans Academy begins.
DC Comics launches a major crossover next week.
The War for Earth-3 is here! Amanda Waller has been working on a plan to attack the Crime Syndicate’s Earth for some time now, and everything will come to a head next Tuesday. The war will feature a crossover between the soon ending Suicide Squad and Teen Titans Academy titles, as well as The Flash and last year’s Crime Syndicate miniseries. The event will only last for five issues total, and will begin and end with bookend issues titled War for Earth-3. However, there is more available for purchase on Tuesday.
Also beginning next week is writer Tom King and artist David Marquez’s Batman: Killing Time, a new series starring the Dark Knight, Catwoman, the Riddler and Penguin. Coincidentally, these are the same exact characters who will make a new live-action debut in The Batman when it releases on Thursday, starring Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano and Colin Farrell. However, the new series will pit Batman against these three rogues following a huge heist they have pulled — though the book promises some double crosses will ensue.
Of course, there is much more releasing from DC next week. Before the upcoming Justice League #75 — “The Death of the Justice League” — and Dark Crisis hits shelves, Justice League Incarnate comes to an end with its fifth issue, closing out the recent Multiversal epic. Also, The Nice House on the Lake returns from its three-month break for Issue #7. The full list of releases can be found alphabetically below, covers and solicitations included.
