Gillespie is famously known as Meat Loaf’s second wife.
Despite being married to a high-profile celebrity, she has been able to stay out of the spotlight for much of their marriage.
She reportedly worked alongside her husband on Meat Loaf: Live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (2004) and Meat Loaf: In Search of Paradise (2007), according to Newsweek.
Prior to his relationship with Gillespie, he was married to Leslie Aday from 1979 to 2001, with whom he welcomed daughters Peal, 47, and Amanda, 41.

Meat Loaf’s death was first reported on January 21, 2022, by his family, who released a statement.
“Our hearts are broken to announce that the incomparable Meat Loaf passed away tonight with his wife Deborah by his side,” the statement read.
“Daughters Pearl and Amanda and close friends have been with him throughout the last 24 hours.
“His amazing career spanned 6 decades that saw him sell over 100 Million albums worldwide and star in over 65 movies, including Fight Club, Focus, Rocky Horror Picture Show and Wayne’s World.
“Bat Out of Hell remains one of the top 10 selling albums of all time.
“We know how much he meant to so many of you and we truly appreciate all of the love and support as we move through this time of grief in losing such an inspiring artist and beautiful man.
“We thank you for your understanding of our need for privacy at this time. From his heart to your souls … don’t ever stop rocking!”
At this time, Meat Loaf’s cause of death remains unclear, however, it was reported by TMZ that his passing came following a Covid-19 diagnosis.
It is also unclear if he was vaccinated against the virus, but he had a history of health complications.

For over four decades, Meat Loaf had transformed himself into a larger-than-life figure in the entertainment industry.
He first rose to fame following his 1977 debut album Bat Out Of Hell, and then went on to release an additional 11 studio albums before his passing.
