Following the discontinuation of the Ninja theme in 2000, LEGO introduced Ninjago in 2011, and it’s since become one of the company’s most popular subfranchises. In addition to toys and comics, Ninjago spawned a television series whose 14th season wrapped in April 2021 and a feature film that was released in 2017, grossing $123 million worldwide on an estimated $70 million budget.
