Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra camera details leaked – Times of India

Samsung Galaxy S22 lineup is tipped to be launched in February next year. Although the company has not revealed any official information about the upcoming smartphones as of now, most of the specifications of Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22+ and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra have been revealed in various leaks. We can not confirm whether these details are true until the devices are unveiled to the public. Now, a tipster Ice Universe has revealed the camera details of top of the line Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
According to the tipster, the smartphone will feature a quad-camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 108MP ISOCELL HM3 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 12MP ultra-wide Sony sensor, a 10MP telephoto Sony sensor and a 10MP periscope Sony sensor. The tipster has also revealed that the zoom capability of the lenses will remain unchanged.
As per the previous leaks by the tipster, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will also feature the brightest Samsung OLED screen ever. “The peak brightness of S22 Ultra broke through the highest record of Samsung’s OLED screen. Obviously, Samsung still keeps the best screen for itself.” wrote Ice Universe on Twitter. Although it is not yet clear how bright the display is, one can assume that it has a substantial lead over 1500 nits of peak brightness on the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
A report by GalaxyClub also revealed the details of the selfie camera in the upcoming smartphones. As per the report, the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Samsung Galaxy S22+ will feature a 10MP selfie camera as seen on Samsung Galaxy S21 and Samsung Galaxy S21+. It is also possible that the devices will also share the same sensor size and aperture. The top of the line Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is reported to sport a similar 40MP selfie shooter as its predecessors Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
